Long before the incredible Gravity hit the big screen last year, I was busy drawing spacemen for an book illustration brief from Harper Collins.
Continuing from last week, I’m looking at less marks, and using negative space more in life drawing.

I want to introduce some more blank space to these ink paintings. It’s been fun re-introducing the charcoal marks but the main aim of moving to ink, was to create something more graphic. More akin to my commercial illustrations.
